Sean Patrick Smith lives in Hamlet, North Carolina with his daughter, Reilly, and his cats: Kissie, Anakin, Eva Marie, Autumn, Solo, and Tom.

 

He is a former newspaper and magazine writer, and an English teacher. He coordinates the services of the developmentally disabled for the state of North Carolina.

 

Sean and his daughter frequent Ocean Isle, NC to spend time with Reilly's grandmother.

 

Three Miles of Eden is his first novel.
